“I have worked closely with Samantha in several different scenarios and I can say that she is professional, dependable, personable and knowledgeable. Sam has had two of my POA’s in training. She shows the same commitment to bringing out the best in 12 hand ponies as she does to horses, and takes them just as seriously. These ponies are showing with young children and are fully prepared and dependable enough to do so because of their work with Samantha. When she had my newly acquired horse in training, she quickly assessed what he already knew and lost no time in building from there. Through regular lessons, Sam has helped me and my new horse to become real partners! She is clear about our goals and very patiently answers all my questions, even those I have asked before, with clear, logical explanations. She has coached me at shows, where my horse and I continue to improve. Samantha has even recently helped me to get my husband’s trail horse out of a medical layoff and took him out on the roads confidently, even though he had not been ridden at all in a year and a half. Samantha doesn’t tell you what you want to hear, she tells you what you need to hear, and does it politely! Whatever your horse-related needs, I can recommend Samantha whole-heartedly. She has helped me to establish a solid working relationship with my horses and ponies and I can’t thank her enough!”

“I adopted an untrained, rescued 6 yr old Polish Arabian mare as my first horse. Just reading those words now, I understand that it sounds insane! I had worked with 2 other trainers before the second trainer introduced me to Samantha. While all my trainers have clearly had a passion to help my horse, Samantha is the only one who has been willing to help me too. I am inexperienced and fearful of my horse (and for good reason) but Samantha never waivers in her support and assistance. I text this poor woman from dawn ’til dusk sometimes to ask questions or share a breakthrough. She has great humor and a ton of patience. She understands the horse and what they need to get through tough spots in their training. My mare is a different horse and while still has her wild streak, every day she is getting better and I know that’s Samantha’s influence and hard work shining through.
I don’t know where I would be without her. Thanks Samantha!”

“Our daughter (Briar) has been riding for several years. However, It was not until this year ’11 that she started riding with Samantha Lynch. Samantha’s knowledge of the rider and horse is incredible! Right away I saw a remarkable difference in my daughters confidence and skill level. With each lesson she improves not only her skills but her self esteem.
Samantha also has been training our horse. When he first came he was scatter brained, unpolished and not in tune with his body. Within four short months he has become amazing to watch. His mind and body are working together and it shows in his over all appearance. Not only will he be ready for showing I know the training Samantha is giving to both my daughter and horse will provide them both with an enriched life. I truly can say Samantha is one of the best trainers in Arizona!”

“I was introduced to Sam about a year and a half ago. My husband and I own 4 horses, two of which I actively work with, play with and ride. I have taken lessons from Sam and had my horses in training with her. She has worked wonderfully with my two diverse horses. One is an older gelding that tends to get emotional and reactive, especially under saddle. Sam has worked with my gelding and showed me ways to help him gain emotional confidence while under saddle. My other horse is young and just started under saddle a year ago. Sam has helped my filly get comfortable and more confident in her gaits. She has also helped desensitize my young horse to the clippers. As an avid Natural Horsemanship follower, I appreciate Sam’s calm and gentle demeanor with my horses and her soft hands on the reins. Watching the way Sam is with my horses has helped build my riding confidence as well, as I eagerly look forward to learning more and continuing riding lessons.”

“My daughter (Ali) had a problem with her show mare, where the mare started throwing her head up whenever asked to lope. Within 3 days, Samantha had her retrained and Freckles went on to earn blue ribbons for Ali. After less than a year of English lessons [with Samantha], my daughter went from 6th place and not placing to placing first!
After just a year of coaching from Samantha, my daughter has learned how to jump, ride English and ride in games and recently she has won High Point in a POA Regional Competition.
Samantha has helped me understand how to control my horses body parts and become a better rider. I am 45, a beginner rider and entered my first show where we grabbed a blue! Thanks Samantha!”

“I have known Sam for almost 8 years and have watched her become a wonderful rider and teacher. I am an older student and have had horses off and on my whole life but not till recently have I found the horse of my dreams. MzZee is 13 years old and has had an excellent start on the ground and in the saddle. So I started taking lessons with Sam 3 months ago and have attended 2 of her clinics. I wanted to have a better understanding of what my horse knows and how to better communicate with her and how to ask for (cues) to add to her training.
Sam has been amazing, she really listens to me and the issues I am having. She watches me ride and sees the whole picture of how I am interacting with my horse. She then will give me exercises to work on and will give suggestions. She will also jump on to ride to see if it is me or the horse. Then we work out the best way for me to understand the lesson and the steps to the cue. There have been so many ‘ah ha’ moments for me; Sam is so patient in getting me there.
Sam’s clinics are also very informative and an excellent way to try out what you have learned in a multiple horse setting. She is great at teaching different levels at her clinics and making it fun.
I can honestly say that I am more in love with my horse today because of the time Sam has given us with private and clinic times. I highly recommend Sam as an instructor for any level that you are at, she has a God given gift with horses and it shows.”

“Since the summer of 2009, I have had the opportunity to ride under the instruction of Samantha Lynch. I was having trouble with my Missouri Foxtrotter mare, Babe, and I was not sure where to go with her training. Samantha has helped me with the training of Babe. She has taught me how to work through the challenges that Babe presents. I am amazed at how far Babe and I have come since this short time that Samantha has been training us. Samantha is patient, approachable, honest, kind and extremely knowledgeable and affective. Thanks so much for all you have done for us.”
